Great fun for kids

If you are using this as a secular activity, this is great. Other than several grammatical errors, it is easy to use. I purchased this to use with my sixth grade Bible students. I was hoping that the game would require my students to use the Bible. This isn't the case. In one clue , students must say a nice INNKEEPER ((clue) let them use his STABLE (clue). However, I could not find the use of the word "innkeeper" or "stable" in any Bible translation. Another clue was "TAX," a term used in the KJV but not many others. Most use the word "census." Finally, one clue was THREE wise men, which the Bible never tells us how many wise men there are. I will still use the activity and I think my students will enjoy it.

Took the kids (12 and 10) a while (which was the goal)! There was a lot of the same kind of puzzle but the kids got better at it as it went along. Pro tip…enter your answers in the open fields of the template and everything magically appears in the right spot! I was amazed at how well done that was. Thanks!!

The 4th and 5th graders in our parish faith formation program had a great time with the Nativity Treasure Hunt! I am so impressed with the way this is set up and plan on using it again and again. I highly recommend hiding the clues way in advance. I waited until the morning of and had myself so confused as to where to hide which clue while including the Roadblocks. I almost wasn't ready in time. The kids loved it and you will be my go-to when i am looking for an activity for one of our gatherings.

There are some errors in the instruction/set up page. He begins a sentence and then the rest of the sentence is missing. Also, in the letter that they are to read before beginning it talks about how they need to find numbers and note them. I don't understand what it is talking about. I don't see numbers used in the clues besides the number order of each clue. Besides that it is great. I love how it is set up to write in your own answers/locations and it goes right into to the puzzles and clues and works perfect, pretty cool. Seems it took a lot of work to put together. I am excited to use this scavenger hunt for a Christmas party.

The bar is now set so high with our family scavenger/treasure hunts! My engineering adult children are baffled at the genius layouts of these hunts! Probably one of the best discoveries I have made on the internet as a Grandma/Mom! Memories are being made! Absolutely the BEST!

Nativity Treasure Hunt - Editable!
14I got inspired to create this nativity Christmas treasure hunt when I realized there wasn’t anything like it out there. I wanted to create something that would be fun and challenging to play, but also actually incorporated the nativity story and focused on learning or remembering the facts.
I divided the nativity story into 10 parts. I created a clue out of each of the different parts. Each clue tells part of the story, but leaves out key words and facts that the players must fill in. Once the players fill in the correct answers they will see that some of the letters are circled. These letters must be unscrambled to form a word. The unscrambled word is the answer, and under the correct answer players will find the location as to where to find their next clue.
One of the great things about this hunt is that you can play it ANYWHERE because you decide the hiding locations. This game comes in an editable PDF. Open the PDF, type in your chosen hiding location where instructed and a few false locations for the wrong answers and you are ready to print and play!
